Welcome to FairEntry for the 2023 Dakota County Fair!

The deadline to register for county fair exhibits is Monday, July 10 at 11:59 p.m. This is a firm deadline with consequences if missed.

Families are required to enter their own projects into the FairEntry system. All projects must be entered prior to the deadline: Monday, July 10 at 11:59 p.m. when the system will automatically lock and no entries will be accepted after that time.

Review the FairEntry user guides for details on using FairEntry.

Important things to note:

• Project age divisions are based on grade completed as of July 1, 2023.
• Each exhibit/animal entry needs to be entered online using FairEntry by July 10 to avoid late registration. Late registrations can still exhibit at County Fair, however, will result in no ribbon placing higher than a blue, no participation in the 4-H auctions, and projects are not eligible for state trips.
• Reference the Dakota County 4-H Premium Book for helpful exhibit suggestions listed under each project area.
• When bringing multiple exhibits in the same project area, please remember to register one time for EACH different project you plan to exhibit. Exhibit limits do apply.
• Remember to select Club for each entry so your club shows up on exhibit cards and show programs.
• Members must attach animals to each entry. Review the user guides for details.
• Read each section of the premium book for details on project limits. Limits vary by project and species.
